Community Guidelines

Rules for useful, honest offer submissions, shopper feedback and reports.

Reviewed August 14, 2026

Community contributions can help identify working offers, expired terms and missing conditions, but only when they are made in good faith. These guidelines apply to submissions, success or failure feedback, reports and other user-provided content.

The goal is useful evidence—not volume, promotion or manipulation.

01

Submit what you genuinely observed

Only submit a code, deal or result that you reasonably believe is authentic. If an offer worked only under particular conditions, include those conditions when the form allows it.

Do not mark an offer as working merely because a merchant page exists, and do not mark it as failed when the problem was unrelated to the promotion.

02

Prohibited behavior

Fabricated offers

Invented coupon codes, prices, discounts, expiry dates or eligibility claims.

Manipulated feedback

Repeated or coordinated votes intended to artificially raise or lower an offer's reputation.

Spam

Duplicate, irrelevant or promotional submissions that do not improve the catalog.

Impersonation

Pretending to represent a merchant, network or another person without authorization.

Harmful links

Submitting deceptive, unsafe or unrelated destinations.

Abuse

Harassment, threats or attempts to expose private information through reports or comments.

03

Context matters

A code can work for one shopper and fail for another because of country, account status, minimum spend, selected items, currency, plan, customer type or campaign timing. Useful feedback therefore describes the relevant context rather than presenting one experience as universal.

The site's review process may weigh community feedback together with provider and merchant evidence.

04

Moderation and abuse controls

Submissions can be rate-limited, held for review, rejected or removed when they appear abusive, repetitive, unsafe or unsupported. Accounts that repeatedly misuse public-write features may be restricted or suspended under the applicable account rules.

Moderation decisions are intended to protect data quality and service availability.

05

Merchant participation

Authorized merchants may submit corrections and offers, but should identify material restrictions clearly. Merchant status does not permit fabricated urgency, deceptive discounts or manipulation of community results.

Commercial relationships remain subject to the same evidence standards.

06

Privacy and safety

Do not post passwords, payment-card details, private order information, personal addresses or other sensitive data in public contribution fields. Use the merchant's support channel for transaction-specific disputes.

Good community evidence is specific, honest and limited to what the contributor actually knows.
